‘Work-shop On Research Methodology for Non-Academics ’

Objectives of the Workshop:
It is observed that many of us are writing ‘informed content ’ on different platforms and however, they are not being considered as a piece of academic research due to insufficient understanding between an ‘ article ‘ and ‘ research paper ‘ . Centre for south Indian studies now proposes to help to bridge the gap between an ’ informed article ‘ and a ’ structured research paper ‘ to enable , to understand the transition from article to research document . It helps in finding a permanent space in the world of Academics.
The workshop is divided in to two parts. One part is the preparation of Research Document, and the other part is Identifying a Research Problem. will be conducted for two days with one week gap between the first day and second day. Experienced Academicians will be conducting the workshop and focus will be on social sciences.
Following are the main objectives of the proposed training workshop:
- To acquaint with the basics of Research Methodology. And help them writing a research Proposal.
- To expose the participants to new & emerging trends in research.
- To enable the participants to understand how to define research problems and to develop a suitable methodology for addressing key issues.
- To help participants to know the various stages of research process.
